The procedure is quick, you're in and out of the office in 30 minutes.
Once you are evaluated, the acupuncturist will analyze your presentation and give you an estimate of the number of treatments likely needed based on clinically evidence based data. This varies with your specific condition, the amount of time you've had it, and other factors.
The Acupuncture process is repeated 2-5 times a week until maximum improvement is seen. Then a maintenance regimen is often prescribed to prevent recurrence. Maintenance may be as little as 1-2 times per month.
Acupuncture can and often results in a complete absence or major reduction of symptoms, even in severe pain conditions that have been present for years.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I have had chronic neck/shoulder/back aches. Kiya is the only one who has ever provided relief from these issues. What sets her apart is the amount of care she has for each client.
I was intimidated by the “needles” initially, but Kiya assured me that I would not feel pain from them. She was right! I felt anything BUT pain! Kiya has not only been able to help me with my menstrual migraines, but she has also helped me to “regulate” my female issues, in turn preventing the headaches from occurring!
I would like to call Kiya a healer because that's what she really is. The truth is, you walk in through the door and she takes care of you. She cares about making you better. I have come in with a list of things, and her magical hands do the rest
Commonly Asked Questions
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments needed differs from person to person. For complex or long-standing conditions, one or two treatments a week for several months may be recommended. For acute problems, usually fewer visits are required, and for health maintenance, we recommend monthly tune ups.
Does Acupuncture hurt?
Nope. It’s very comfortable. Most people end up taking a nap during their treatment and leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.
Do You Accept Insurance?
I do not accept insurance but will provide you a super bill upon request that you may submit. Make sure to ask your insurance what conditions they will cover.
Will Acupuncture Work For Me?
Acupuncture affects every biophysical system in your body. I've seen people all ages with all types of conditions. Acupuncture usually gives them the solution they've been searching for. It should be a standard of care for most people.
